Important Information The serving board is supplied untreated, together with mineral oil to be applied before use using kitchen paper. Spread the oil evenly over one side of the board at a time, allowing the wood time to absorb it. Then use kitchen paper to remove any excess oil. Repeat on the other side and leave to air dry. After treatment, it is normal for the colour of the wood to become darker. Like all wooden products, the board should be kept in contact with water for as little time as possible. It can be washed under running water, using a mild, non-aggressive detergent. After drying, keep it standing upright in the air to allow it to dry completely before storing. To preserve the beauty of the wood and reduce the absorption of liquids released by food during use, we recommend regularly repeating the treatment with specific mineral oil for chopping boards. During use, it is normal for scratches to appear on the surface. Over time, these tend to naturally become less noticeable. Under no circumstances should the product be placed in the dishwasher, oven or microwave.
